Elizabeth Reid is the Vice President of Search at Google, based in the San Francisco Bay Area. In this role she focuses on the core Google Search experience and the engineering that powers it, helping guide product and technology decisions that impact users worldwide. She has been with Google since 2003. Over more than two decades at the company, Reid has concentrated on complex, large-scale systems and consumer search products, working closely with engineering and product teams. Her leadership centers on building high‑quality search experiences and operating services at global scale, with a sustained focus on reliability and user value. She brings deep domain knowledge in search and engineering management. Reid holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Dartmouth College (1999–2003).
